First Day at Fairy School

First Day at Fairy School Synopsis

Welcome to Oakleaf Academy, the fairy boarding school at the end of the rainbow, where readers can join friends Poppy, Ivy, Azalea, and Jessamy on their magical misadventures.

In First Day at Fairy School, Poppy is nervous about her first day - just like any other student. But unlike most kids, she travels to school by owl-bus and worries about whether she will ever get her magic wand to work. Poppy soon settles in and makes friends with Jessamy, a talkative sprite, and Ivy, a fairy with a rebellious streak. When events take an unexpected turn, the new students must face a terrible danger, launch a brave rescue, and form an unexpected friendship.

Oakleaf Academy is a charmingly illustrated chapter book series, with each story following a different pupil at fairy school. The series blends together the hijinks and misadventures of traditional boarding school stories, the ups and downs of real schoolgirls' friendships and a generous sprinkling of mystery and adventure - all ingredients of a truly magical brew!

Ideal for readers aged 7+.
