Daisy Goes on a Plane

Daisy Goes on a Plane Synopsis

This story is part of Reading Champion, a series carefully linked to book bands to encourage independent reading skills, developed with Dr Sue Bodman and Glen Franklin of UCL Institute of Education (IOE)

In this story, Daisy is nervous about going on holiday as she has never been on a plane before. Maybe Tiger, her cuddly toy, will help her to be brave ...

Reading Champion offers independent reading books for children to practise and reinforce their developing reading skills.

Fantastic stories are accompanied by engaging artwork and a reading activity. Each book has been carefully graded so that it can be matched to a child's reading ability, encouraging reading for pleasure. This book is suitable for children age 4+ or reading at book band blue 4 (book bands are a levelling system widely used in schools to check a child's reading progression).
