"If you like animal stories, you will love The Lost Bear Cub "
Imagine having a holiday in Vancouver, swimming and canoeing from gorgeous beaches, camping under different stars and hiking through the woods. That’s what Lucy gets to do and it’s all vividly described in Holly Webb’s latest book. Most exciting of all for Lucy though, she gets to see bears, and one little bear cub in particular, who almost seems to be following her around.
As ever in Holly Webb’s stories, readers will feel they are right there with Lucy. There’s lots to learn about bears and their behaviour and some exciting and very dramatic events, but Lucy’s new friendship with her cousin Kitty will beguile readers too.
Lucy is so excited to spend the summer holidays with her cousins in Canada, but when they tell her to watch out for wild bears in the forest, her excitement turns to fear.
