I Am Going to Jump This Log

I Am Going to Jump This Log Synopsis

Frog is going to jump this log.
And it will be easy... or so he thinks!

Bursting with braggadocio, misplaced bravado, and some truly unforgettable sportswear, Frog's frustration builds as his feeble efforts fall short. Will he ever clear the log? And what awaits him on the other side...?

Author Stephanie Stansbie's pared-back, confident text leaps off the page alongside debut illustrator Jack Viant's bright, expressive artwork in this crackingly funny picture book. Look out for the satisfying twist at the end and a subtle lesson on misplaced arrogance.

Perfect for fans of the fabulously subversive humour found in picture books by Jon Klassen, Chris Haughton, and Lane Smith. Children and adults alike are guaranteed to be jumping to read about this this bold, boastful Frog again and again.
