Angel's Child Synopsis

When twelve-year-old Amber goes to stay with her Grandad Charlie on the Island of Legna, the last thing she expects is to be stranded there after a huge storm. Left to look after Charlie who is suffering with dementia, she has only her fourteen-year-old neighbour Emil to help.The appearance of two strangers on the Island looking for Charlie's neighbour Katrin, heralds the beginning of a series of strange events. And when a young girl called Ella is discovered hiding in Katrin's house, real life seems to become mixed up with an old folktale. Will Amber and Emil discover what's really happening and if they do, will anyone believe them?
