LoveReading4Kids Says
Shortlisted for the CLiPPA 2023
Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho’s warm, elegant and meaningful poems capture both how pre- schoolers experience everyday things like going shopping and the complexities of feelings as they are felt and expressed by the very youngest listeners.
Carefully grouped under headings including All About Me, What do I Feel, and At Home these poems highlight moments familiar to all children and extend them in eloquent words that make them exciting and also safe. Nicola Killen’s illustrations match the words perfectly.
