"A touching celebration of daddies and sons"
The special trust and bonds between daddy and son are beautifully and touchingly explored in Michelle Robinson’s new book. The little dinosaur who narrates follows closely in his daddy’s footsteps, feeling safe next to him in a busy world. His daddy is so big it makes him proud, but he really wants to make Daddy proud of him too and his confidence is boosted when Daddy tells him he’ll keep growing and learning all the time.
With that reassurance he is able to cope with his worries and feel safe in the knowledge that even in the future when he’s grown up and the stronger one, he’ll be able to look after them both.
The text is simple and reassuring but contains serious, subtle and important life lessons. The gorgeous dinosaur setting created by Paddy Donnelly glows with colour and detail and it’s a gorgeous book to share with little ones.
