More great reads: the best books for 4 year olds
Best-selling illustrator Tony Ross brings zest to this original mixture of familiar favourites and less well-known stories. In all, he celebrates how the good triumph over the mean-spirited and how kindness outshines trickery while through his entertaining illustrations he adds a vigorous humour making popular stories such as The Musicians of Bremen and Beauty and the Beast particularly entertaining.
