"The beautiful game gets an entertaining Horrible Histories style treatment"
Fantastic Football, the second book in the Stupendous Sports series, is a top of the league triumph for footie fans who can’t get enough of the beautiful game, with Robin Bennett’s engaging words and Matt Cherry’s comic illustrations delivering a winning partnership of share-worthy “did you know…?” facts, stats, tips and tricks.
The book kicks off with an overview of the history of football before readers are taken through player positions, the rules of the game, essential skills and tactics, along with outlines of the pros and cons of different formations, and tips for improving your own skills.
