Harriet is a young hippopotamus who has always felt like an elephant. She asks the elephants if she can join them and be an elephant. Her friends, a chimp, sandpiper and giraffe keep her company. The elephant matriarch tells her to "keep up", accepting her, and a small elephant walks beside her. Her animal friends wave goodbye and wish her well.
