Mole loves autumn, but when night falls, he prefers to stay safely inside. The dark is far too scary. One night, Mole kindly shares his glowing pumpkin light with friends who pass by in the wind and shadows.

But when Mole steps into the darkness himself and his light goes out, fear takes over. Lost and alone, he soon discovers that the kindness he gave has followed him into the night.
