Linda Neill is a passionate reader who has loved getting lost in books since childhood. Her early enthusiasm for literature led her to study English Literature before becoming a primary school teacher.
Throughout her career, Linda has championed children's literature, ensuring pupils engage with a diverse range of texts: both in terms of authors and characters. As an English adviser, she was always on the lookout for inspiring books to share with schools and teachers, helping them spark a love of reading in the children they teach.
For the past 12 years, Linda has channelled this passion into developing programmes that support schools in nurturing reading and writing skills, as part of her work with The Literacy Company.
Linda always has at least two books on the go, whether on her Kindle or stacked by her bedside. Her reading tastes span most genres, from children’s fiction to a wide range of adult novels, with the classics remaining a firm favourite.
