Santy Gutierrez was born in Spain. He won acclaim as the Best Spanish Young Editorial Cartoonist and Best Galician Caricaturist. He founded the BAOBAB Studio Artists Collective and has been chairman of the AGPI (Galician Professional Illustrators Association) for 6 years.
He has over 20 years' experience as an illustrator of editorial cartoons and caricatures for multiple Spanish newspapers, as well as illustrating articles, books and comic strips for magazines and editorial houses and creating graphic campaigns and animation production for advertising companies.
