Claudia Petrazzi - Illustrator

Claudia Petrazzi is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist based in Italy. She graduated in production design at Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.

In 2009 she worked as a stop-motion animator and production designer at Studio Yusaki in Milan and started working as freelance illustrator too.

She mainly works on middle grade/young adult books and comics for Italian, French and English publishers.

For Il Castoro Claudia illustrated the book series Nazar Malik by Olivia Corio, translated in five languages, and the graphic novel Clara e le Ombre by Andrea Fontana, which won the Prix Des Lecteurs Du Var in France and the Living Book Award in Catalonia.

Claudia has always written her own stories and recently started her journey as an author. Her first project for adults is Atomi, a self-produced webcomic, which has been nominated for Premio Bartoli 2023 at Arf! Festival in Rome.
