Sian James is a self-taught children’s book illustrator from Hong Kong. Despite her upbringing as a city girl, she loves daydreaming about enchanted forests, ancient ruins, magical creatures and exciting adventures. When she is not drawing or painting, she loves to curl up with a cup of Earl Grey and read a fantasy novel or play a video game. She now lives in Cambridge, UK, with her biochemist husband Nathan, her daughter, and two affectionate cats Miso and Mochi.
