Sophie Blackall is an award-winning illustrator whose books are beloved around the world. Her previous books include If You Come to Earth, Ruby’s Wish, and the Ivy + Bean series, as well as Hello Lighthouse and Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World’s Most Famous Bear, both of which were awarded the Caldecott Medal.
Sophie is one of the most lauded children's book creators of our day. Her work has also won the Ezra Jack Keats Award and the Society of Illustrators Founder's Award.
She lives in New York.
