Maya Angelou - Little Guides to Great Lives

I enjoyed Little Guides to Great Lives - Maya Angelou. I have read other books in the "Little Guides to Great Lives" series and this is another good one.

I enjoyed Little Guides to Great Lives - Maya Angelou. I have read other books in the "Little Guides to Great Lives" series and this is another good one. The book is simply written but packed full of information about Maya Angelous life. I thought it was interesting that she didn't speak for nearly 5 years!. The book is very colourful and short enough to read in one sitting.

This is a fabulous book about Maya Angelou. It gives you lots of information and is easy to read. I would recommend it to everyone.

I really liked this book. I liked the illustrations and the way the words were written around them. I found out lots and lots about Maya’s life and it made me want to find out a bit more about how things were in the olden days.
I think Maya was a great lady and she met lots of famous people.
I’m really glad I read this book. My mum has ‘I know why the caged bird sings’ and says I can read it when I’m a bit older.
I would recommend reading this book to everyone, even grown ups, because it’s good to find out about people and what went on in the past.
I might get some of the other books in this set too to find out about other people.
