21% Monster: Ice Giant

What a great read. I only finished reading it today but I'm already excited for the next in the series.

What a great read. I only finished reading it today but I'm already excited for the next in the series (21% Monster Serpent Strike). This series is perfect for people who like the Alex Rider series, but it has a bit of magic and battles all the way through, tense moments with surprising twists. I would recommend that you read the first book in this series (21% Monster) but it is not essential. The main characters had their own personalities and back story which showed more realism. It was also set in the real world but with a fantasy twist. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The storyline kept me on the edge of my seat, and at no point in the story did I think that I could predict what would happen next.

Darren and Marek are no match for XSP, an organisation that created them, but when they meet a new superhuman things are about to change...

This is a thrilling sequel to the first book in this action-packed series. When I started to read this book I wasn't anticipating much, having already read the first book, I had expected roughly the same. However, this book blew my mind at how exiting the plot was, and I felt like I personally knew all the new characters introduced in this book. The storyline kept me on the edge of my seat, and at no point in the story did I think that I could predict what would happen next. An unpredictable plot, amazing characters and a magical new world, this book is perfect for all those who seek an adventure.

This is an exciting adventure book for sci-fi and fantasy fans. Will Marek, Darren and Aurora be able to take on the organisation which made them super-human?

This is an engrossing book for sci-fi or fantasy fans. The characters are really well thought out with interesting traits and personalities so you can understand them and maybe even relate to them - aside from the super-human part! Marek and Darren are hiding in a bunker from XSP (the secret company that modified their genes). They hatch a plan to recover the XCEL cyborg weapon from the bottom of the ocean before XSP can get their hands on it. During their adventure they discover that there are more super humans from project Helix which survived and they also get to meet one - Aurora who has her own battle with XSP, and is determined to stand up for what she knows to be right despite risking her life. Will they be able to turn the tides against XSP? Or is this an impossible fight?
