I loved this book, it was an amazing thriller and I couldn’t put it down.
Circle of Liars is an amazing YA thriller that will keep you coming back for more. It includes 7 teens who have all been involved in a school fire to be left stranded at a motel and forced to play the balloon game. It’s full of plot twists and nail-biting moments that make you keep on turning the pages. I would give this book a 5 star rating and would recommend it to the ages 13 and above. The key themes of the book are thrilling, care and danger.

Circle of Liars is a gripping and suspenseful novel that follows the story of seven teenagers who are sent to a remote desert motel after being told they have earned a "reward." However, it quickly becomes clear that this is no reward at all. Each of them has been found guilty of something in their past, and their arrival at the motel is anything but random.
As the story unfolds, the teenagers realise they are being watched constantly. After searching the building, they discover hidden cameras and microphones throughout the motel, and to make matters worse, there is no mobile signal or any way to contact the outside world.
The real horror begins when they are forced to take part in a mysterious game, and after each round, one of them dies. The tension rises with every chapter as the characters try to uncover who is behind it all and why they were chosen.
I found this book incredibly engaging. The plot kept me guessing, and I was genuinely shocked by some of the twists. The setting was eerie and well described, and the author did an excellent job of building suspense. I particularly enjoyed how each character had their own backstory and secrets, which were revealed bit by bit. The setting was creepy, and the atmosphere made it feel like anything could happen.
Overall, Circle of Liars is a thrilling and chilling read, perfect for fans of mystery, survival stories and psychological drama. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys books with a darker edge and plenty of surprises.

All seems like fun and games and just a coincidentally unlucky situation with no cell reception when a note is left for the adolescents: “I know what you did a year ago. Now it’s time to pay the price. Today at 9:58am. You’re going to play the balloon game. Every hour you must choose who is the guiltiest among you. Before the hour ends, that person must leave the circle around the motel where they will be shot. If no one leaves, all of you will die. Only one can survive. Happy anniversary….”
Most shake it off as a youtube prank and oblige to play the game, but once the first person runs over the line, the shots are no joke. That’s when the survival instincts of human nature cut in.
Sacrifice anything to stay alive, but in the end, what if all that sacrifice wasn’t worth it?
I couldn't put this book down. It is great for fans of One of us is lying and Good girls die first.
When Ana and her peers win a trip to a 'spa' they are all looking forward to some fun and r & r. What greets them is the Motel Loba....
This book had me caught from the start. I loved all the characters, especially Ana, Alex and Raya. I thought it was great that they had included gay and trans people in the story, although their stories didn't take over the whole narrative. It did feel like they were kind of details added just to fit in with today's youths in a way.
I was trying so hard to work out who was behind the deadly scheme but i didn't get it at all until it was revealed, but I did work out the ending when Ana asked Alex to trust her.
Ellis is a slime bag. I thought the story was good, kinda showing how some little thing as you think of it can actually be the big thing that causes a massive amount of pain and destruction.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this book to others. A brilliant encapsulating read.
