A book chock full of hilarious poems, including how Unicorns can convince people they are real!
This book was hilarious! There are loads of questions about different things that happen in day-to-day life - for example nightmares - and each one is answered with a poem which has a funny twist at the end. My favourite was 'Are unicorns real?' in which the unicorns come together to decide what to do about the humans not believing in them. When one of them suggests going outside and showing themselves to the humans, another unicorn asks if they remember what happened to their friend the dodo?!
I recommend this book for all readers who enjoy comedy or are very curious. I give the book 5 stars!

This book is great. It's fun and interesting and I love the illustrations too. It's not like any other poem book that I have read with my children before, which is why I probably like it so much! I also really like the layout of the pages, with poems written on the side and in the drawings. It certainly feels like this book has been well thought through.
Poems are based on 100 questions with the answer written within the poem. Questions like: What is a primary colour? Why does my heart beat? Which sport was played on the moon?What are animals without a backbone called? The questions are really varied and all come with really fun, bright illustrations. Overall I think this is a great book. It would make a perfect Christmas present for anyone really, young or old. It's been a big hit in our family from my daughter who is 8 up to my mum who is almost 80!

Hilarious! This book contains a collection of interesting facts which are turned into humourous poems featuring lots of puns and related words. The idea of a unicorn marketing strategy was so funny and so was the alphabet code. Some poems work better than others (I personally really liked the news style ones and those written from another perspective - like an insect) but when the poem falls flat it is almost funnier. You can imagine the writer trying their best and laughing as they write it!
I learnt a lot from the choice of facts - like a Supernova occurs in our galaxy every 50 years and it can rain fish every year in Honduras! The book has brightly coloured eye-catching illustrations with lots of smiley faces and the layout of the poems is really engaging - requiring you to interact with the book by turning it to read it. I would recommend reading it aloud with family - adopting voices and styles like a rapper - we had a great laugh with this great book.

Five stars. This amazing book will take you through the wonders of poetry and answers fantastic questions you never even knew you had, like ‘how are tornadoes formed?’ or ‘how far away is Mars?’. I laughed after every page. It shows that poetry can be both informative and fun.
I would definitely recommend this book to both children and adults who want to know more about the incredible universe. Topics covered include animals from rhinoceros beetles right up to the gigantic blue whale, space, our prehistoric ancestors, technology, history and so much more.
It is a book that you will want to keep coming back to.
Funny poems to answer questions I didn’t even know I wanted answered.
I have been really enjoying reading this book with my mum, we have been reading a few poems at a time by picking questions that sound interesting or if the pictures look good when I flick through the book. There are lots of questions (some which are quite silly) and a poems (some of which are funny) to go with each and then an actual answer to the question. I like some of the poems better than others but my favourites so far are 'Can you say the alphabet in code?', 'Can poo heat your home?' and 'How many times a day do we laugh?'.
The book has good illustrations for each poem and I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the poems.
