This book was exciting and full of surprises, with lots of unexpected murders and a big twist. The creepy glass house scene was amazing. One of my favourite books ever.
This book was amazingly well thought out and a beautiful piece to read. I loved how the number of murders kept increasing when you least expected it, which made it incredibly suspenseful.
Anyone could have murdered Scarlett, but I never would have guessed who it was in the end! The plot twist was truly wondrous and completely unexpected. One of my favourite moments was when they arrived at the glass house and found the doll frozen in ice inside a drawer, with blood-red water running from the tap - it was chilling.
The book is a clear sign of a very clever writer who becomes the character and describes scenes vividly. It has become one of my most treasured books. Thank you, Ravena Guron for giving us the splendour of this book.

This book had themes of true friendship, death, deception, threat and acknowledging the past. I liked how well written the book was and how the protagonist found a loyal friend. In my opinion, the main character was very inspiring, as she was very passionate about journalism and she even continued to pursue this passion, when it was hard. She managed to solve a mystery, whilst also showing herself to be brave and courageous – beautiful personality traits, to be admired. This book would be great for those who love thrillers and murder mysteries, as there was lot of suspense and tension in the plot. I think that the written style of the book was perfect, as it captured the very real struggles of teenagers in their lives, together with the joy that a lifelong friend can bring during trouble. The cover was also designed well, as it has the word ‘murder’ in red, which is both eye catching and bold. However, the storyline kept jumping from different time frames, which was a little hard to get used to, but built up the tension and suspense. Additionally, death is a recurring theme in this book, so I would not recommend this book for those who are not keen on the idea of death or for whom it might be a sensitive topic.
