Will Hamilton-Davies, a Bristol-based author and poet, is an exciting new voice on the children’s picture book scene. As one of six children, Will spent most of his young adult life entertaining three much younger siblings - much of which involved reading stories. Inspired by the magic of picture books and encouraged by a retired primary school teacher, he crowdfunded and self-published his first picture book at just 22 years old, The Shrew with the Flu, which has now sold over 5,000 copies in the UK.
Will’s writing is filled with warmth, wisdom and a playful sense of adventure. His stories champion confidence, curiosity, and courage - empowering young readers to speak up, stand out, and embrace the world around them.
