If this exuberant story doesn’t have toddlers jumping for sheer joy, then it’s hard to know what will! Ruby and Oscar are playing their favourite game when suddenly ‘Hic!’ Oscar gets the hiccups. But how to get rid of them? Ruby has lots of ideas, including dancey-dancing, jumpity-jumping and twirly-twirling.
She even tries a bit of magic with her wand but nothing works until she has a really brilliant idea. The story is a delight and Holly Sterling’s illustrations of Ruby and Oscar are irresistible, full of life and energy; everyone will want to share in the fun with this little girl and her dog. ~ Andrea Reece
How do you stop the hiccups? Find out what happens when Ruby' s puppy Oscar gets the hiccups. Ruby tries all kinds of things, from hoppity-hop and slurpity-slurp to her special magic spell.
