One of Our Books of the Year 2017 | Playtime with Ted is one of a new series of interactive board books from the super-talented Sophy Henn and like her bestselling picture books it’s fresh and funny, and a wonderful celebration of the joys of being a child. Ted is having great fun: to the unseen grown up he’s sitting in a cardboard box, but flip over the flap and we see what Ted sees as his box transforms into a series of vehicles, from racing car to submarine to rocket ship. It seems so simple but there’s a brilliance in the idea and the delivery, and this will delight children and adults alike. ~ Andrea Reece
Playtime, Ted! Ted isn't sitting in a box, he's whizzing along in his racing car. Broooom broooom brooom! Or digging a hole in his digger. Dig dig dig! Or exploring the oceans in his submarine. Bloop bloop bloop! Join in the fun as Ted's imagination goes wild - lift the flaps to find out what he is doing next!
Perfect for fans of Chris Haughton and Rob Biddulph, this sturdy board book celebrating the imagination will have pre-schoolers chortling with laughter!
‘Two really gorgeous board books from Henn which bring her signature style and humour to the youngest of children’ Fiona Noble, The Bookseller

Where Bear? was her very first book and since then she has created the wonderful panda character called Pom Pom. She has been nominated for the Greenaway Medal for Where Bear? 2015 and was shortlisted for the AOI Illustration ...More About Sophy Henn
