"Fast paced superhero adventure with a very appealing little star"
July 2022 Book of the Month
Fresh from his adventures in Marv and the Dino Attack and Marv and the Mega Robot, young Marvin is ready to take on more evil-doers, but first he’s going to his friend Joe’s birthday party at the waterpark. He might be a superhero, with a superhero suit and his very own robot sidekick, but he’s still nervous around water. Grandad’s there to reassure him that it’s OK to be scared, but it’s still all a bit much for Marvin. Then – uh-oh – supervillain Hydro arrives and no-one’s going in the water. It’s time for Marv to face his fears and save the day (and the birthday party).
Full of super-lively illustrations and divided into short, action-packed chapters, this is a perfect first reader, and its message of the importance of confidence, self-belief and friendship is one that will chime with all youngsters. The world needs more superheroes like Marv!
