LoveReading4Kids Says
This fact-filled, inviting and gorgeously illustrated book will appeal to all children and send them outdoors to explore nature. Divided into four sections matching the seasons, it shows young readers what birds, plants and animals to look out for, whether they’re in the garden, the park, the countryside or seaside, with information on how to identify them and tips to encourage nature, eg by creating bird feeders, bug hotels or butterfly stations.
There are fun activities to try too, all designed to make days outdoors even more enjoyable. It's beautifully presented with write-in pages for children to record what they’ve done and seen. The illustrations feature children and families as well as realistic depictions of nature to make it easy to identify what they’re looking at. A really lovely book.
