The detailed, full-page drawings and simple text show readers how Molu and Naanu spent their afternoon. There is a touch of humour in store as Naanu first has to change Molu' s nappy, Molu then spends some time crawling around the house.
They play a game of peekaboo. Then it's lunch time and Naanu has to really apply all his special baby knowledge to get Molu to eat his food. There is time for a story for Molu and then they both fall asleep. A typical afternoon looking after a baby! When it's time for Molu to go home, he is sad to leave Naanu.
