The terrifying Trapper destroys the rock that is home to Corpse, Girl and Simon and worse, spider-naps Simon. As the friends set out to rescue him, they realise they’ll need the help of the seafoam sprites, which in turn opens Flip’s eyes to the truth about his family history.
With the narrative carried jointly by Corpse and Flip, there’s a great deal going on, and as incident follows incident, they dovetail into a compelling drama. The book ends with the stage set for yet more adventures in this spooky seaside town. Bring it on!
