Mattie lived near the woods and would pretend all the animals in the woods were her own animals. Her friend Zoe had a dog called Heinz.
Mattie she found a dog with an injured leg She takes him to the vet where she becomes a vet apprentice along with her friends for the summer.
They were really good friends with the son Casper and he helped to look after the rescued animals so they decided to set up Apple Tree Animal Agency.
