When the class head into the school garden to learn about using their weather powers to help plants grow, she makes another mistake, but with a bit of Weather Tots teamwork, soon everything in the garden is lovely again.
This will be a great book to prompt talk about starting school, but its real strength is the gentle way it teaches the very young about weather and the importance of sunlight to plants. A fun first information book – there are instructions for growing your own cress seeds at the back too – and the Weather Tots are jolly fictional friends.
