"Full of methodical plot points and thrilling twists and turns"
Set during an ancient war, with tragedy and uncertainty plaguing the hearts of the people of Cambria, two people use their voices to empower the unheard.
Two previous academic rivals, Roman and Iris, unknowingly communicate with one another through their mystical typewriters, comforting each other during a time of isolation and fear.
Working as journalists, both protagonists journey down to the front line to report on the war, risking their lives and families to deliver the truth to those who have been blindsided.
Meeting new characters along the way, Roman and Iris go on a journey of self-discovery, uncovering hidden feelings and unknown truths. Full of methodical plot points and thrilling twists and turns, Divine Rivals is full of page turning moments that will have you addicted to the book.
Its ending captured my heart as a reader, its unsatisfactory ending only making the duology more exciting overall and solidifying its place as a well-loved fantasy novel on social media.
