"Pizza and Taco are hilarious friends who will have readers of Bunny vs. Monkey, Looshkin, Dog Man and InvestiGators scrambling for more."
In Who’s the Best? Pizza and Taco are discussing how they are best friends, how they finish each other’s sentences and like all the same things when they come up with a problem. Between them, who actually is better?
When they can’t decide, they choose to hold a competition. To do this, they ask their friends to vote which one of them is the best. When they accuse each other of rigging the votes, they move to feats of agility and strength to find the answer.
What follows are a series of really funny scenes with our two heroes getting more and more agitated with each other as the story progresses, before ultimately coming together again.
What I love about Pizza and Taco is that each installment has a great moral question to them and they are realistic in that both Pizza and Taco often react like real children would.
Each story works very well being read aloud with funny voices and they are so fast and fun, it will be re-read on multiple occasions and there are lots of books in the series to keep readers coming back for more.
Pizza and Taco have fast become my favourite comic book duo and I thoroughly enjoy reading about their funny, strange lives.
