In this book which cleverly combines old fashioned images with delightfully tactile spreads, there’s a shiny train, a gritty sandcastle and a papery kite. Each picture also encourages readers to look closely and see what else there is in the picture.
Touch and Feel Toys takes the feely fun to the toy box, as the reader feels a kite flutter beneath their fingers, or touches the jack-in-the-box’s crinkly spring.
Also available is Animals. Toys and Animals are a lovely addition to a popular series, the Alison Jay Nursery Collection, which already includes the delightful Welcome to the Zoo.
