My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece Audio CD read by David Tennant

LoveReading4Kids Says

Audio CD read by David Tennant. Winner of the 2012 Branford Boase Award for an outstanding debut novel.

You'll be utterly mesmerised by the voice of a 10 year old boy whose family have quite frankly gone AWOL since one of his twin sisters was blown up by a terrorist bomb 5 years before.  Narrated by the boy, My Sister lives on a Mantelpiece will bring both laughter and tears to both young and old but don't be put off by the main protagonist being only 10.  This is definitely a story for boys and girls aged 11+ and is the audio CD edition of a debut novel from an author with a bright future.

David Tennant says of My Sister lives on a Mantelpiece: “I started to read Annabel’s book and found I couldn’t put it down!”

Pandora White, Audio Publisher at Orion: “David Tennant agreeing to read Annabel’s book is a huge endorsement to her unique and talented writing. We are delighted.”
