'All that glisters is not gold.'

Rediscover Shakespeare's tale of bitterness and retribution.

Bitterness begets blood.

Bassiano is in love with the gorgeous heiress Portia! Alas, he's too poor to pass the suitors' test set by her father. Fortunately, Bassiano's best friend, Antonio, steps up and borrows the money on his behalf. Unfortunately, Antonio can't pay it back. The fee? A pound of flesh.

As the pressure reaches boiling point, Antonio needs to find one hell of a lawyer …

The Merchant of Venice is Shakespeare's iconic tale of greed and justice.
