A Lovereading4kids 'Great Read' you may have missed 2011 selection.
Award winning Children's Laureate Julia Donaldson has created a delightfully entertaining picture book that celebrates poems of all kinds. All the rabbits are sick of hearing the rhyming rabbit’s poems for every occasion. Forlornly, the rabbit sets off to find someone who can appreciate his rhyming habit.
He has no luck with a worm, a mole or a centipede but luckily happens on a sheep with the same gift. Great happiness follows. Lydia Monks’ sparkling and tactile illustrations make a great accompaniment. A wonderful tale from the creators of the bestselling What the Ladybird Heard. ~ Julia Eccleshare
Poor old Rhyming Rabbit is feeling lonely and left out. None of his fellow rabbits appreciate his carefully thought-out poems. And as for the other animals he meets?
