I Am Helpful Synopsis

When a new baby sister arrives, one little girl has a lot to adjust to. But by helping her parents and taking on special jobs like singing to the baby, she learns that being a big sister comes with big rewards. In this instalment of the Positive Power series, kids will learn the affirmation "I am helpful" through a relatable story of responsibility and support. Through simple text and joyful illustrations, this instalment in the Positive Power series inspires kids to be helpful while giving them the confidence they need to transform from little to BIG readers. Step 2 Readers use basic vocabulary and short sentences to tell simple stories, for children who recognise familiar words and can sound out new words with help. Rhyme and rhythmic text paired with picture clues help children decode the story. Series Overview: Since 1984, Step into Reading has set the standard.
