The Black Stallion Returns

The Black Stallion Returns Synopsis

"The most famous fictional horse of the century" (The New York Times) is back in this timeless classic about how much danger one boy will endure to rescue his beloved companion.

"Someone cruel and vicious wanted to put an end to the Black. Why? What motive could he possibly have? The answer lay somewhere in Arabia."

When a chieftain shows up to claim ownership of the Black Stallion, Alec Ramsay has no choice but to let the horse return to Arabia. But he's not ready to let the Black go so quickly. He travels halfway around the world, determined to buy back the stallion. What he finds is an adventure that few could imagine-and even fewer could survive!

It has been more than seventy-five years since the first Black Stallion adventure was published, and it is still literature's most enduring friendship between a boy and his horse.
