Jennings in Particular Synopsis

'It's the boys in Form Three who are the real problem - and Jennings in particular.' What starts with an innocent game of cricket leads to a whole new batch of adventures for Jennings and Darbishire. Climbing onto the school roof to recover a ball, they find themselves stuck and, fearing a night in the cold, they break into an attic. When Mr Wilkins discovers Jennings stuck in his sleeping bag and resembling an Egyptian mummy, he cannot believe his eyes and demands that the tomfoolery cease.

Then Jennings wins a pig at a parish fete, and unable to find a more suitable owner, he decides to hide it in the school potting-shed. 'Jumbo-jet of a hoo-hah'
