Small said, I'm a grim and grumpy little Small and nobody loves me at all.
Oh Small, said Large. Grumpy or not, I'll always love you no matter what.
When Small is in a big bad mood, it's up to Large to help. But what if Small were a grizzly bear, or a scary crocodile - would Large still love him? Of course! A heartfelt story about the unconditional love each parent feels for their child, beautifully told by Kate Greenaway-nominated Debi Gliori and repackaged for a new generation to enjoy.
Debi started writing children's books in 1976, then attended art school in Edinburgh from 1979 to 1984. She received a travelling scholarship award to go to Milan, and worked as a freelance from 1984 onwards. She lives and works in Scotland, and her studio is situated in a thirteenth-century herb garden. She now has four children and her book No Matter Whatis dedicated to them. Debi Gliori is the author/illustrator of many books for children including Mr Bear, the winner of a Children's Book Award.
DEBI GLIORI is the award-winning author and illustrator of many Bloomsbury picture books including the Alfie series, The Trouble with Dragons, Dragon Love Penguin and the bestselling No Matter What. She has sold more than half a million books in the UK alone.
