Maud Is Moving

Maud Is Moving Synopsis

Moving somewhere new can come with bumps on the road - until you find a friend who makes you feel right at home.

"We are really leaving," said Maud.
"Yes we are," said Dad, and that made it true. "It'll be fun!"
The fun, Maud felt, was not true yet. Only the leaving.

Maud feels excited about moving house, but also uncertain, and she worries about making friends ... until she meets Gitta. This is a thoughtful, funny and hugely enjoyable read for all children about changing schools, new beginnings, community, empathy ... and a horse that eats sausages. Fully illustrated in black line art, this gently humorous read with a sprinkle of magic and featuring a neurodivergent main character is perfect for all children aged 7-11.
