Who Will Captain This Pirate Ship?

Who Will Captain This Pirate Ship? Synopsis

The woebegone pirate ship, "Glockenspiel," has had a wretched year since the loss of their legendary captain.Only the deep bond of music has kept this international band of brothers afloat. Now they're desperately seeking a new leader. Meanwhile, in a whole different world, a young boy is reading this very story - and he decides that he himself is exactly the captain these pirates are looking for.

What happens when a reader is literally absorbed in a book? This charming story in verse will captivate readers of all ages, but especially those aged 8-10. Lavishly illustrated, it makes a particularly good read-aloud book.
