The Rescues

Best Day Ever is book 2 in the warm, confidence?building early reader series about rescue pets learning how to belong in a new family.

Told in short, accessible chapters and supported by full?color illustrations throughout, the series is designed to help beginning readers build fluency while exploring everyday emotions, friendship, and problem?solving.

In Best Day Ever, Moose, Bear, and their cat friend Tiger face one very busy day. A trip to the vet, an unexpected storm, and overactive imaginations turn ordinary moments into big worries. As the day unfolds, the friends learn how to face their fears, comfort one another, and get through challenging moments together.

Gentle and reassuring in tone, The Rescues will appeal to readers who enjoy classic early reader series like Henry and Mudge, with relatable moments, short chapters, and lovable animal characters.

The series is perfect for emergent readers and continues with The Rescues: Three Wishes (The Rescues #3).
