Poochie Pete and His Very Big Feet

Poochie Pete and His Very Big Feet Synopsis

The debut picture book from Dougie Payne, the multi-platinum selling bassist and backing vocalist, with Scottish indie rock band, Travis. Beautifully illustrated by debut picture book illustrator Rachel Seago. For anyone who loves dogs and music.

The heart-warming story of Pete, a lonely, scruffy pooch who was born with enormous feet that are always getting in the way of all he tries to do. With all of the chaos he leaves in his wake because of his big feet, no one wants to be his friend, and he longs to find his place in the world. It's not until he discovers a music shop and its helpful owner, Henry Large, that he finds his own song and the place where his heart truly belongs.

A fabulous rhyming tale full of heart, with themes of individuality, creativity, friendship, bravery, and joy. Dougie has written two original songs for his book.
