Richard Johnson always wanted to be an illustrator. Now, he has a host of children's titles to his name and has won the Silver Award for Children's Book Illustrators from the Association of Illustrators. This is the first title he has written as well as illustrated himself. Richard remembers his science teacher telling him that the world's best-ever invention was language and the ability to communicate, but he thinks the humble pencil rates pretty highly too! Not to mention a nice cup of tea with some fancy chocolates... Richard lives in Lincolnshire.More About Richard Johnson
