Don't Forget Your Cuddly Toys

Don't Forget Your Cuddly Toys Synopsis

Ling leaves the house, all alone. Although… she has brought along all her cuddly toys. In a picture book that barely needs any words, Ling's imagination runs free.

Each of her cuddly toys comes alive: she wrestles and hugs her bear, laughs with her hyena, flies with her bird, dives into the deep dark sea with her octopus, and rides her cheetah's back. You can feel the wind and the water, the speed, the animal bodies, the friendship, and the freedom. Yvon van Oel has created a picture book that instantly feels familiar, where joy leaps from the page, and that you simply need to have, to look at every evening again while clutching all your cuddly toys.
