"A fun new graphic novel series for young readers"
Here’s a fun new graphic novel series for young readers. Peggy the dog leads a double life – outside Tangletree woods she’s just a waggy-tailed dog, inside she’s a detective dog, solving mysteries on behalf of the local residents from her office.
There are two mysteries for her to tackle in this first book. First is ‘Slime Time’ – why are the animal citizens sleeping so badly and waking up covered in smelly slime? The trail, unexpectedly, leads to Tangletree Library. The second, ‘Mud Race’, is also full of unexpected surprises.
Tangletree is a fun place to spend time and the residents a quirky bunch to say the least. Newly independent readers will love these funny cartoon style adventures and Peggy is a wonderfully amiable detective. More please!
