Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, has survived the Trojan War. Now, to return home to his wife and son, he must find a dead seer named Teiresias, whose soul dwells in the Underworld. But the Underworld had many parts, including Tartarus, home to monsters and mortals who offended the Gods.
It's the last place Odysseus wants to go - especially after the ferryman Charon cautions him with tales of terror and torment. About The Greek Mythology Children's Collection: With so many Greek mythology retellings by authors like Maz Evans, Louie Stowell and Tom Vaughan, these faithful but child-friendly adaptations of the original epics show where the adventure and drama all began, including the origins of 'the face that launched a thousand ships', 'the Trojan Horse' and the 'Achilles heel'.
Set 2 of The Greek Mythology Children's Collection features ten more tales of gods, mortals and monsters. Readers will meet famous heroes and heroines as they face infamous foes, impossible quests and endless wars. All this and more is brought to life with vivid illustrations, accessible language and FREE audiobooks (QR codes inside).
