When the huge storm tosses Little Frog into the old tree stump he is initially terrified. Everyone knows that a Big Scary Thing with bright yellow eyes lives in that stump so Little Frog is sure that he will be gobbled up.
But instead, Little Frog finds he is held safely in a warm embrace alongside the Big Scary Thing’s own little ones. When the whole tree stump is blown over by the storm, Little Frog, the Big Scary Thing and all the little ones it is taking care of are tossed into the river.
