More great reads: the best books for 11 year olds
A tense, action-packed thriller, this will grab the reader’s attention from the first moment and hold them spell bound as the dramatic action unravels. Luke is hoping for a small reward when he boards the luxury cruise ship Ocean Emerald to return a passport. Little does he know that a criminal gang has boarded the same ship but with an infinitely more deadly purpose. Luke needs all his courage and enterprise if he is to avert disaster for himself and all those on board.
The Ocean Emerald is a floating luxury palace. A cruise ship carrying 1,000 wealthy passengers. And a sitting target for terrorists...14-year-old Luke Baron isn't supposed to be there in the first place. He only boards the Emerald to return a lost passport, hoping for a finder's fee and a glimpse of the ship.
